 Abbott Northwestern Hospital
Abbott Northwestern Hospital is the largest hospital in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area. HeartScan Minnesota opened in September of 1999. This service was developed as a collaborative effort between physicians of the Minneapolis Heart Institute, Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Consulting Radiology Limited. This Web site provides information about a new generation of CT scanner - Advanced CT - to view traces of calcium in your heart. This build-up of calcium helps determine your future risk of having a heart attack.

 Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation
The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation was established in 1982 by physician members of the Minneapolis Heart Institute, Abbott Northwestern Hospital and community and state leaders within Minnesota. The Foundation seeks to improve cardiovascular health through education and clinical research. Their website includes valuable information about cardiovascular disease and its prevention.
