Minneapolis Heart Institute Services in Minnesota and Surrounding Communities
The Minneapolis Heart Institute is a collaboration of medical specialists devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The institute was established in 1981 on the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A primary goal for the Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott Northwestern's programs for cardiovascular care is to remain a valued community resource fpr patients and referring physicians by advancing the healing arts and sciences of heart disease management. Since its establishment, Minneapolis Heart Institute has opened satellite offices in four Twin Cities key communities, developed partner clinics in Alexandria and Crosby and built consultative cardiology outreach relationships with more than 33 sites throughout Minnesota and the surrounding area.
