Cardiovascular Grand Rounds

In order to stay abreast of changes in the practice of cardiovascular medicine, the physicians at the Minneapolis Heart Institute participate in weekly cardiology rounds. Current cardiology topics are discussed and new management modalities of the cardiovascular patient are reviewed through presentations of interesting cases.

This conference takes place every Monday morning at 7:00 am in the Watson Room of the Education Building on the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Campus. Cardiology Rounds are adjourned during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and also during ACC and AHA.

The Office of Continuing Education & Accreditation at Allina Hospitals & Clinics designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

Individuals representing other professional disciplines may submit course materials to their respective professional associations for 1 hour of continuing education credit.
