IVS Clip Closure In Percutaneous Procedure - “The CLIP Study”

Study of:
Clip Closure System

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Integrated Vascular Systems Clip Closure System compared to standard treatment or compression. Patients undergoing an angiogram and/or stent placement need to lay flat while pressure is applied to the puncture site to allow time for the groin site where the catheter was inserted to seal. The Clip Closure system is used to close the arterial groin puncture site. By closing the arterial site immediately post procedure, this device may reduce pain and discomfort by allowing patients to ambulate earlier after the procedure. Up to 20 US clinical Sites will enroll 485 randomized patients. Patients will be required to have a follow-up clinic visit 30 days after discharge to assess the puncture site.
