Study of: During saphenous vein graft stenting, there is increased risk of breaking off small particles of plaque or blood clots that could travel down stream and get lodged in the vessel. This could possibly cause a small heart attack or stroke. There are new devices being developed to trap and remove these particles preventing injury.
This is a registry for patients who do not meet inclusion/exclusion criteria, but for whom their cardiologist feels would benefit from using distal protection. Patients are followed at 1 and 6 months.
